The Many Faces of Jesus: An Artist’s Perspective. Join us for a special evening on June 6, from 6:00–7:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall of Easthampton Congregational Church, held in conjunction with the Easthampton City Art Walk. Enjoy an engaging presentation by full-time, award-winning artist Melissa Stratton Pandina as she explores paintings of Jesus through the centuries. With beautiful slides, Melissa will share works by celebrated masters such as Botticelli and Leonardo da Vinci, along with striking pieces by lesser-known artists. She’ll also be available for questions following the talk. Join Melissa for an eye-opening look at the image of Jesus through the eyes of an artist! She’ll reveal the hidden meanings, symbolic details, and fascinating stories behind these powerful representations, while also exploring the creative tensions between artists and their patrons.
