Reverend Sherry Tucker

Reverend Sherry Tucker is a 2003 Master of Divinity graduate of Andover Newton Theological School and has served as an ordained minister in churches in Western Massachusetts, and as Chaplain and Interim Dean of Religious Life at Mount Holyoke College. She is very pleased to be the minister of Easthampton Congregational Church since 2014. Sherry also has a Master of Arts in Teaching from MHC, and has taught elementary school, as well as English at the community college level. The church recently celebrated Sherry’s 15 year anniversary of Ordained Ministry!

Sherry grew up in a small town in Indiana, and her family moved to Florida when she was in middle school. She later attended New College, earning a BA in Literature. Sherry studied ballet for many years.   Sherry, Ken, and their family moved to Massachusetts in 1990.

Sherry is married to Ken Tucker, who is a Professor of Sociology at Mount Holyoke College.  They have 3 adult children: Kelly, her spouse Jean-Fred, and their kids Max and Adrien; Bryan and his spouse Liz and their children Emma, Lily, Elaina and Anna;  and Mike and spouse Julie and their two boys, Blaise and Arthur. Her hobbies include time with family, running, and ballroom dancing.
